Each of these materials has its pros and cons as follows:
a. Styrofoam:
Styrofoam is an excellent choice for insulating hot and cold foods to help maintain and control their temperature. However, it is not biodegradable which is bad for our environment.

B. Plastic:               
The plastic is strong and prevents leakage and protects the food. It is perhaps the most used packing material because it is very cheap, always available, and easy to transport.
However, plastic is not environmentally friendly because it is not biodegradable, while some plastics can leak toxic substances into your food.
